Ingredients

Only 4 ingredients needed to make these delicious bite-sized treats.

  • Breakfast Sausage– use Hot breakfast sausage if you want these crescent bundles to have some heat.
  • Crescent Dough or a Crescent Sheet– a crescent sheet is better. If you use crescent dough, you will have to press on the perforations to seal them.
  • Cream Cheese– adds a little creamy goodness for the filling. You will just need a sliver for each one.
  • Red Pepper Jelly– adds a little sweetness and spiciness. You can use green pepper jelly instead and mango chutney or strawberry preserves would also work well.

How To Make Air Fryer Sausage Crescent Bundles

  • Cook the sausage. Brown and crumble the sausage in a nonstick skillet and then let cool.
  • Prepare dough. Unroll crescent dough. If not using a crescent sheet, press on the perforations to seal. Use a pizza wheel or knife to cut 4 rows on the short end and 5 rows on the long end so that you get 20 roughly equal pieces of dough.
  • Assemble. Place a small amount of sausage on each crescent piece. Top with a small sliver of cream cheese, and small dollop of red pepper jelly. Pull the corners of the crescent dough up and over the filling, pressing to seal.
  • Air fry. Preheat air fryer to 330. Spray basket with oil and air fry in batches for 5 to 7 minutes.
