Ingredients

  • Jalapenos- look for wide, medium-sized jalapenos that are roughly the same size. The skinny ones are hard to stuff.
  • Cream Cheese– softened.
  • Buffalo Wing Sauce– I use Frank’s Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce. Be sure to use the Buffalo Wing Sauce and not the hot sauce.
  • Blue Cheese Dressing– gets mixed into the filling for a little extra creaminess and flavor.
  • Garlic Powder
  • Finely Diced Cooked Chicken– I use rotisserie chicken.
  • Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese– Colby Jack can be used instead.
  • Green Onion

Recipe Tips

  • Look for medium-sized jalapenos that are wide instead of narrow.
  • This recipe can vary a great deal in heat based on how hot the jalapenos are.
  • Do not crowd the air fryer basket. Air fry in batches if necessary.

Variations

  • For a milder version, use mini sweet peppers instead of jalapenos.
  • Add some cooked, crumbled bacon for a little smoky flavor.

Make Ahead

These jalapenos can be totally prepped ahead of time. Cut the jalapenos, make the filling, stuff the jalapenos, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until you are ready to air fry them.

Storage

Leftovers will keep for 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Try chopping them up and using them as an omelet filling or toss with some pasta.
