Why I Love Making Dips In The Air Fryer

Dips may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about foods to air fry, but I love making dips in the air fryer. The cheese gets wonderfully crusty and golden on top and they cook in less time than in the oven. Plus the air fryer is great for making smaller batches of food. This spinach dip serves about 6 people.

4 Types Of Cheese

This easy dip is made with 4 types of cheese for tons of cheese flavor. Cream cheese and ricotta cheese form the base of the dip. Fontina cheese and Parmesan cheese are added for more flavor.

This dip can easily be assembled up to 24 hours in advance. Go ahead and place it in the baking dish, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to air fry.

Baking Dish

You will need a small baking dish for this recipe. I use this one.

How To Serve Air Fryer Spinach Dip

I like to serve this Spinach Dip with toasted mini Naan pieces which I toast in the air fryer. It is also great with pita chips which can be made in the air fryer. Or you can serve it with tortilla chips or toasted baguette.

Recipe Tip

Be sure to squeeze as much water out of the spinach as possible. I thaw the spinach in the refrigerator overnight.

Variations and Substitutions

Use Monterey Jack or mozzarella cheese in place of the fontina cheese.

Storage

Leftovers will keep for 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. They taste great mixed into an egg scramble.
