I pretty much crave wings every day. And the air fryer is perfect for quickly cooking up a batch of juicy, crispy wings. Much easier than baking them in the oven and much healthier than deep frying. Some of my favorite wing recipes are Air Fryer Honey Sriracha Wings, Air Fryer Cherry Chipotle Wings, Sticky Soy Wings, and Carolina Mustard Wings.

Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix

This is a staple in my pantry. I use it often to make salad dressing and also to make this grilled chicken recipe. I also use it for this amazing Marinated Shrimp, Tomato, and Mozzarella Salad which is one of my alltime favorite things to bring to a party.

How To Prep The Chicken

If your grocery store sells chicken wings that are already broken down into drummettes and flappers, you can get those and skip a step. If not, buy whole chicken wings and use a sharp kinfe to cut off and discard the wing tips. And then cut them into drummettes and flappers.

Secret Ingredient

The wings get coated in mayonnaise which adds flavor, helps keep them moist, eliminates the need for oil, helps the seasonings stick, and helps the wings get a wonderful golden color.

How To Make Air Fryer Good Seasons Wings

  • Coat wings in mayo mixture. You’ll mix together the mayonnaise, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch and add the wings. Coat them well.
  • Air fry the wings. Spread them out and do not crowd the basket. Air fry at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Flip over and air fry 8 more minutes.
  • Make Butter Sauce. Combine butter, garlic, Good Seasons Dressing Mix in a small saucepan and heat until the butter is melted. Stir in the Parmesan cheese.
  • Coat wings in butter sauce and serve.

Recipe Tips

  • Do NOT crowd the air fryer basket.
  • I don’t always preheat my air fryer, but if you usually do or your air fryer requires it, go ahead and do it. It will shorten the cooking time slightly.
  • Air fryer cooking rates vary between different air fryer brands and models so use the air frying time as an estimate. Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

How To Serve

These wings are great on their own or serve with blue cheese dressing or ranch dressing for dipping.

Storage

Leftovers will keep for 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the air fryer at 325 degrees for 5 minutes.
