Air Fryer Crispy Curry Drumsticks
Air Fryer Crispy Curry Drumsticks are marinated in Greek yogurt with lots of seasonings and then air fried until crispy. They take under 20 minutes to air fry and can be served with potato salad or cucumber salad for an easy weeknight meal.

Ingredients
Just a few ingredients are all you need for this easy air fryer chicken recipe.
- Chicken Legs– Most air fryer baskets can fit 5 to 6 chicken legs.
- Greek Yogurt– marinating chicken with Greek yogurt not only gives it a tangy flavor, it helps the meat stay really moist.
- Seasonings– curry powder, garlic powder, and garam masala are used to flavor the chicken. Garam Masala is one of my favorite spices and I don’t think it is used nearly enough. It smells wonderful and is slightly sweet. It is actually a blend of spices- Coriander, cumin, cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

How To Make Air Fryer Crispy Curry Drumsticks
This recipe has a minimal amount of prep time, a short marination time, and then 15 to 18 minutes of air frying.
- Mix the marinade.
- Add chicken and marinate for 30 to 60 minutes. You can marinate it for up to 8 hours if you have time. It will give it more flavor.

- Air fry for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping over halfway through.

- Serve. Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro and serve. If you don’t like cilantro, just leave it off or use parsley instead.

How Long To Cook Chicken In The Air Fryer
Chicken drumsticks should be done in 15 to 18 minutes. Use the time as an estimate. Different air fryer brands and models cook at different rates. The size of your chicken legs and temperature of the chicken will also affect the cooking time. If possible, let the chicken sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before air frying. Chicken is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees. An instant-read thermometer is helpful.
Variations
- Chicken thighs can be used instead of chicken legs. They will need longer to cook.
- Add a teaspoon of brown sugar to the marinade for a tough of sweetness.
- Add half a teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to make it spicy.

- ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- chopped fresh cilantro optional
Instructions
- Mix together Greek yogurt, curry powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and garam masala in a shallow bowl.Add chicken legs and turn to coat. Let marinate for 30 to 60 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees.
- Spray air fryer basket lightly with oil.Add chicken legs to air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 15 to 18 minutes, flipping over halfway through.
- Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
