Yield: 20 sausage bundles
Calories: 94kcal
- ½ pound breakfast sausage
- 1 (8-count) tube crescent dough or a crescent sheet
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons red pepper jelly
Brown and crumble the sausage in a nonstick skillet. Let cool.
Remove the crescent dough from the tube and unroll. Press on the perforations to seal. (No need to do this if using a crescent sheet.) Use a rolling pin to roll it out a little.
Use a pizza wheel or knife to cut the dough into 4 rows along the short end and 5 rows along the wide end.
Place a small mound of sausage on each crescent piece.
Cut the cream cheese into 20 slivers and place a sliver on top of each sausage mound.
Use a spoon to place a small amount of pepper jelly on top of each one.
Pull the corners of the crescent dough up and over the filling and pinch to seal.
Preheat the air fryer to 330 degrees for a few minutes.
Spray basket with oil and place half the crescent bundles in the basket. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
Repeat with second batch.
