Materials

  • ½ pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 (8-count) tube crescent dough or a crescent sheet
  • 3 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons red pepper jelly

Instructions

  • Brown and crumble the sausage in a nonstick skillet. Let cool.
  • Remove the crescent dough from the tube and unroll. Press on the perforations to seal. (No need to do this if using a crescent sheet.) Use a rolling pin to roll it out a little.
  • Use a pizza wheel or knife to cut the dough into 4 rows along the short end and 5 rows along the wide end.
  • Place a small mound of sausage on each crescent piece.
  • Cut the cream cheese into 20 slivers and place a sliver on top of each sausage mound.
  • Use a spoon to place a small amount of pepper jelly on top of each one.
  • Pull the corners of the crescent dough up and over the filling and pinch to seal.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 330 degrees for a few minutes.
  • Spray basket with oil and place half the crescent bundles in the basket. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Repeat with second batch.
