Flavored with just a hint of almond extract, these buttery danishes have a wonderfully creamy filling that’s made with only 5 ingredients.

Ingredients Needed For Air Fryer Cream Cheese Danishes

  • Cream Cheese– I recommend full-fat, but reduced fat can be used.
  • Sour Cream– just a few tablespoons adds more creaminess and a little tang.
  • Granulated Sugar
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Almond Extract- one of my very favorite flavorings. A little goes a long way.
  • Crescent Roll Dough or a Crescent Sheet
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Heavy Cream– half-and-half or milk can be substituted.

How To Make

  • Mix the Filling. Use a hand-held mixer to beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Mix in the granulated sugar and extracts.
  • Assemble. Cut the crescent dough into 8 slices. Flatten each slice into a shallow bowl. Spoon filling into each one.
  • Air Fry. For best results do not crowd the air fryer basket. Fry in batches for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Make Glaze. Whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream and drizzle over the danishes once they have cooled some.

How To Store

Best eaten right away but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 days. Reheat in air fryer before serving.

Recommended Air Fryer

I use the Cosori 5.8-quart air fryer. Keep in mind that air frying times can vary greatly between different air fryer brands. Use the cooking time as an estimate.
