Air Fryer Bacon Egg & Cheese Pastry
Air Fryer Bacon Egg and Cheese Pastry- buttery, flaky puff pastry makes the perfect base for a delicious bacon, egg, and cheese pastry. It tastes like something you would get at a French bakery.

The air fryer gets the pastry dough perfectly golden and crispy in just a short amount of time and the egg cooks right in the pastry.
How To Make Air Fryer Bacon Egg & Cheese Pastry
- Prepare puff pastry. Cut the puff pastry into 6 rectangles and brush with egg wash.
- Pre-Cook puff pastry. Air fry the puff pastry for 8 to 10 minutes.

- Add Eggs. Flip the puff pastry over and press on the middle with a spoon to make a pocket. Crack an egg into each pocket.
- Air Fry at 360 degrees for about 5 to 6 minutes.
- Add toppings. Sprinkle with bacon, cheese, and green onion and air fry 30 seconds to melt the cheese.
Recipe Tips
- Thaw the puff pastry according to package directions. You want it pliable but still cold so that it is easy to work with.
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. You will probably only be able to cook 2 at a time. You need plenty of room for the air to circulate around the pastries.
- Adjust the cooking time depending on whether you want the egg yolks runny or frozen.
- Air fryer cooking times vary greatly between different models and brands so use the cooking time as an estimate.

Variations and Substitutions
- Use goat cheese, Swiss cheese, or Pepper Jack cheese in place of cheddar.
- Use cooked and crumbled sausage or diced ham in place of bacon.
How To Serve
Serve with some hot sauce if you like hot sauce with your eggs. I love the serve these bacon and egg pastries with some fruit salad. A yogurt parfait would also go well with them.
Storage
Leftovers will keep for 3 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator and can be reheated in the air fryer to get them crisp again.
