Air Fryer Cheddar Biscuits
Did you know you can make fluffy, buttery biscuits in the air fryer in a minimal amount of time. Well, you can. These Air Fryer Cheddar Biscuits are phenomenal. Crispy and cheesy on the outside and so tender on the inside.

How To Serve Air Fryer Cheddar Biscuits
Perfectly yummy as is or even better slathered with some butter or honey. Or you can cut them in half and stuff them with eggs and bacon to make a breakfast sandwich. One of my favorite things to make in the air fryer. Best served while warm.

This recipe makes 6 biscuits. You should be able to cook them all at once unless you have a very small air fryer.
Air Fryer Cooking Times Vary
Different brands and models of air fryers cook at different rates so use the air frying time as an estimate and check early. The biscuits are done when they are golden brown on the outside and cooked through. It should take about 13 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees.

Recipe Tips For Air Fryer Cheddar Biscuits
- Do not overmix the dough. If you do you will have tough biscuits instead of light and tender biscuits.
- Use self-rising flour for this recipe. If you don’t have self-rising flour, use 1.5 cups all-purpose flour, 2.25 teaspoons of baking powder, and .75 teaspoon of salt.
- You will need to preheat the air fryer for only a few minutes. This is one of the benefits to air frying versus using the oven. It heats very quickly.

Cook At A Lower Temperature
Biscuits need to be cooked at a lower temperature in the air fryer than in the oven, but because there is so much heat coming from above, they still get wonderfully crispy.

Variations
- Add 1 minced jalapeno or a pinch of cayenne pepper for some spicy flavor.
- Use pepper jack cheese instead of cheddar cheese.

Storage
Best eaten shortly after they are made. Leftovers will keep for 2 to 3 days in an airtight container at room temperature. Reheat in the air fryer.
