Best eaten warm straight from the air fryer. This recipe makes 8 to 9 mini cookies. Perfect for small-batch baking.

Air Fryer Cookies

Air frying cookies is my new favorite way to make cookies. The texture is so much better than oven-baked cookies. They are so quick and easy to make. They air fry in just 8 minutes. Can’t beat that! The air fryer gets the cookies perfectly golden brown with a crisp exterior but they cook so quickly they stay gooey on the inside.

Air Fryer Cooking Times Vary

Different brands and models of air fryers cook at different rates so use the cooking time as an estimate and check early. They will continue to cook a little after removed from the air fryer and they will firm up some as they cool so it’s ok for them to look a little undercooked in the middle.

Air Fryer Small Batch Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe Tips

  • You can use either salted or unsalted butter.
  • No need to preheat the air fryer unless yours requires it.
  • It’s best if you line the air fryer basket with parchment paper with holes in it so the air can still circulate around.
  • Do not crowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if necessary.
  • I usually add a few extra chocolate chips to the cookies right when they are done cooking. Gently press them into the cookies.
  • Once done, carefully lift the cookies on the parchment paper and set on the counter. Let cookies cool for about 5 minutes before removing from the parchment paper.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 4 days.
