Air Fryer Cookies

Cookies actually air fry really well. They get crispy on the outside but stay wonderfully moist on the inside. And they only take minutes to air fry.

Kitchen Tools I Use

  • Hand-Held Electric Mixer
  • Parchment Paper– I use these parchment paper rounds that are specifically made to be used in an air fryer. They have holes in them that let the air criculate, but they do a good job at preventing the cookies from sticking.
  • Air Fryer– I use the Cosori 5.8-Quart Air Fryer.

How To Make Air Fryer Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip Cookies

  • Combine an egg, peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, butter, flour, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl and use a hand-held electric mixer to mix together.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Shape into balls and then flatten into disks.
  • Air fry for 5 to 6 minutes. Air fry in batches.
  • Let them cool some before removing them from the parchment paper. Tip: If you want to get another batch of cookies going, carefully lift the parchment paper up and out of the air fryer. Use a new piece of parchment paper for the next batch.

Don’t crowd the air fryer basket. The cookies will not spread out much so you can space them fairly close together but you want room for the air to circulate around them. I can air fry about 5 to 6 at a time in my Cosori.

How To Tell When Done

Different air fryers cook at different rates so use the cooking time as an estimate. They are done when the edges begin to turn brown. They will be crumbly until they are cool so don’t try to move them until they have completely cooled.
