Use The Air Fryer Cooking Time As An Estimate

Different air fryer models tend to cook at different rates. I find the basket-style air fryers cook faster than the toaster-style ones. To get it really crispy, you may need to cook it longer than 12 minutes. Larger florets will take longer to cook.

Recipe Tips

  • Completely dry the cauliflower before air frying or it won’t get crispy.
  • Cut the florets into relatively equal sized pieces for even cooking.
  • Be sure to preheat the air fryer.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket. Work in batches if necessary. There must be room for the air to circulate around the cauliflower so it gets crispy otherwise it will stream.

What If I Don’t Have An Air Fryer?

If you don’t have an air fryer, roast the cauliflower on a greased baking sheet for 20 to 25 minutes at 400 degrees F. Flip the cauliflower over halfway through or it may burn.

Storage

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 4 days. Reheat in a 370 degree for 3 minutes.
