Parmesan Crusted Cauliflower Steaks are so good cooked in the air fryer. They are a wonderfully healthy main dish or side dish.

Can be served as a main dish as a vegetarian alternative to steak or as a delicious side dish.
Only A Handful Of Ingredients
- 1 Head Cauliflower
- Olive Oil– or Avocado Oil
- Salt, Pepper, and Dried Thyme for seasoning
- Parmesan Cheese– buy a block of Parmesan cheese and grate it yourself for best flavor.
- Panko Crumbs– or regular breadcrumbs.
- Chopped Fresh Parsley

How To Choose Cauliflower
Choose a large head of cauliflower for this recipe. It should be all white with little if any brown spots.


How To Cut The Cauliflower
You will get 2 cauliflower steaks from 1 head of cauliflower. Cut the head in half and then cut a thick slice from each side. Save the remaining florets for another use. You can air fry them at another time or chop them up and add them to a salad.

Cooking Time Varies
Use the cooking time as an estimate. Different air fryer brands and models cook at different rates. It should take about 8 to 9 minutes. If you want it fairly soft, it may need a little longer.

- Preheat the air fryer for a few minutes.
- Flip cauliflower over halfway through for even cooking.

- 1 head cauliflower
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- salt and pepper
- ⅛ to ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons Panko breadcrumbs
- chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Cut the cauliflower into 2 equal halves. Then cut a 1-inch slice off the thick side of each piece.Save the rest of the cauliflower for another use.
- Brush both sides of cauliflower steaks with oil and season with salt, pepper, and thyme. Note: A little dried thyme goes a long way, but season to taste.
- Preheat air fryer to 380 degrees. Spray air fryer basket with oil and add the cauliflower steaks.
- Air fry for 5 minutes. Flip over and air fry for 3 to 4 minutes.While cauliflower is air frying, combine Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs in a small bowl.
- Top cauliflower with the Parmesan mixture and air fry another 3 minutes.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
