Materials

  • 2 medium yellow squash
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil or thyme

Instructions

  • Wash and dry squash.
Cut the ends off and discard.
Cut in half horizontally and then into half-moon shapes.
  • Place in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper and add garlic powder and basil.
    Stir until evenly seasoned.
  • Air fry at 400 ℉ for 12 minutes, shaking halfway through.
Note: Do not crowd the air fryer basket. You want the squash in a single layer. If necessary, air fry in 2 batches.

Notes

I like my squash to be pretty soft. If you want it crisp-tender, shorten the air frying time.
