This Air Fryer Apple Crisp is a cinch to make in an air fryer. With a buttery oatmeal streusel topping, it tastes great topped with vanilla ice cream.

Materials

Filling

  • 2ΒΌ cups diced Granny Smith apple,
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • β…› teaspoon nutmeg
  • pinch of salt

Topping

  • β…“ cup old-fashioned oats
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 3 tablespoons cold butter cut into small pieces
  • vanilla ice cream for serving

Instructions

  • Stir together all filling ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Spray 4 ramekins with cooking spray.
    Divide apple mixture evenly between ramekins.
  • Cover each ramekin with foil and place in air fryer basket.
    Air fry at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile make the topping. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar and pinch of salt in a medium bowl. Add butter and cut it in.
  • Remove foil from ramekins and sprinkle topping on each one.
    Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes at 350.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Notes

I remove the skin from the apple before dicing.
I use 4-ounce ramekins for this recipe. If you use larger ramekins, it may take a little longer to cook.
